Heading north brings you to the colourful colonial towns of
Salvador and Illheus with their stunning tropical beaches, whilst the
south is home to the impressive, thundering Iguazú falls. Move inland
and you reach the Pantanal - the world’s largest wetland area where
without the trees and undergrowth of its mighty Amazon neighbour, the
potential for wildlife enthusiasts to spot caiman, anaconda, monkeys,
otter, deer and other wildlife is plentiful.
